This Privacy Notice explains how 18210161 Canada Inc., doing business as ByCrewTech Services (“ByCrewTech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with our company websites at bycrewtech.com and servicesbycrewtech.com (including redirects to those sites, such as the French pages under /fr) (together, the “Sites”).
This notice covers the company marketing Sites only. It does not cover the DutyWisePro product, applications, or related services. A separate privacy policy for DutyWisePro will be published when that product goes live.

We operate as a Canadian enterprise and designed this notice with attention to federal private-sector privacy rules (PIPEDA) and Québec’s private-sector privacy law (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector / Law 25), as applicable.
2. Personal information we collect
A. Information you send us
If you email us (for example at admin@bycrewtech.com), we receive the content of your message and any personal information you include (such as your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write).
B. Technical and connection information
When you visit the Sites, our hosting and security providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the Sites. This typically includes IP address, request headers, date and time of the request, pages or resources requested, and similar connection metadata.
We do not operate account registration, online contact forms, analytics tools, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers on the Sites as currently configured.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information from the Sites to:
- respond to inquiries and other communications you send us;
- operate, deliver, maintain, and secure the Sites (including preventing abuse, fraud, and attacks); and
- comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Sites do not set first-party cookies for analytics, advertising, or marketing, and we do not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts on the Sites as currently configured.
Our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) may occasionally set short-lived cookies or similar technologies related to security and automated traffic protection. Those are used to help deliver and protect the Sites, not for marketing. We do not provide a cookie preference banner for this configuration. If we later add non-essential cookies or tracking, we will update this notice and any required controls.
5. Service providers
We use service providers to run the Sites. They process personal information only as needed to provide their services to us:

We do not describe other processors in this notice. If that changes, we will update this page.
Some providers may process information outside Québec or Canada. Where that occurs, we take steps appropriate to the law that applies to us, including contractual measures with providers where required.
6. Retention
We keep inquiry emails and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward for business continuity, security, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.
Technical logs and security-related records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operation, security, and troubleshooting, subject to our providers’ retention settings.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal limits.
To make a privacy request or ask a question about this notice, email admin@bycrewtech.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You may also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Québec, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI).
8. Children
The Sites are intended for a general business audience and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Sites.
9. DutyWisePro product
Information about how we will handle personal information in the DutyWisePro product and applications will be set out in a separate privacy policy published when that product goes live. This company Sites notice does not replace that product policy.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Sites after a change means you can review the updated notice on this page.
